Google released the Android 13 May 2023 security patch to all supported Pixel phones, as well as the Pixel Watch smartwatch on the first Monday of the month. The May 2023 update has arrived on its scheduled day after a few update delays, but it’s missed for the Verizon Pixel 6 series at the time.
Just recently, Google has started unleashing the May 2023 security patch for Verizon users of the Pixel 6, 6 Pro, and 6a smartphones in the United States. The release is fixing an issue that sometimes caused lock screen UI elements to overlap with the home screen app launcher interface for Pixel 6 lineup.
The software version TQ2A.230505.002.G1 is the latest security update that has been made available for Google Pixel 6, 6 Pro, and 6a devices. It is recommended that users update to the latest software version to ensure that their device is running efficiently and is secure from potential vulnerabilities.
